Sick Visitor
Marcello was born in the small town Grimaldi, province of Cosenza in the Calabria region of southern Italy. He emigrated to Canada in 1959 and has been a member of the Giovanni Caboto Club since 1970. Even though this is Marcello's first term as a councillor, being responsible as one of our Sick Visitors, he has been involved in many areas over the years. Marcello has been a long time member of the soccer committee since the early 1980's. He been serving pasta for over 15 years during our monthly Charity Pasta events held the first Wednesday of every month. You will even find Marcello around the building making various repairs since he has also been a major part of our facilities crew for the past 10 years. Marcello also volunteers at various club events. Most importantly, Marcello is an expert at creating the best espresso. Just look for him at the next General Assembly meeting.
