Councillor
Joe Bachetti has been a member of Giovanni Caboto Club since 1989. He previously served on the Board of Directors from 1994 to 1996. Joe presently serves on the Operations Committee and is the Chair of the Caboto Grape Festival. Joe is a retired elementary school principal from the Windsor Essex Catholic District School Board and the Deputy Mayor for the Town of Tecumseh as well as the Deputy Warden for the County of Essex.
Joe sits on several committees in the community. He is the Chair of the Essex County Library Board, Vice Chair of the Windsor Essex County Health Unit, Vice Chair of the Windsor Essex Community Housing Corporation and a Board Member of the Essex Region Conservation Authority and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 261. Joe also enjoys volunteering for various local organizations and is a member of the Optimist Club of St. Clair Beach, Sandwich South Historical Society, Tecumseh Heritage Centre. Joe is married to Brenda and has three daughters Daniela, Sabrina and Julia.
