Born in Montallegro, Provincia di Agrigento, Sicilia, Italy and immigrated to Canada in 1954. A graduate of the University of Windsor with a Bachelor of Arts from the Faculty of Social Science and is retired from the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. A Caboto Member since 2008 and was first elected to the Board in 2011. Since that time, Mr. Piazza was the editor of the Canadian best seller cookbook, ‘Cooking With Giovanni Caboto’, as well as having served on numerous committees such as the Blood Drive and Wine Tours. He is the Chairman of the Art & Culture/Members’ Events Committees and also serves on the Finance, Sports, Newsletter, Calendar, Public Relations, Fall Trips, Regional Dinners and the 100th Anniversary committees.
